3 Major Thoughts hit the mind when you turn 25

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen we hit the age of 25 Life demands more from us. Some of you might have completed graduation or post graduation, few people might be employed. Most of us wish to become somebody great in life, build a big career, earn more money and live a lavish life. At this age, our minds are swarming with random thoughts that come and go with the speed of light!

Hang on for few minutes and read out this article to understand that it is perfectly normal to have these thoughts when you turn 25.

1. Marriage Thoughts

In India when a girl completes her graduation or is still pursuing her graduation course, her parents start finding a groom for her. So if you are a girl and dealing with a similar situation, relax for a while. It’s our society’s mentality which cannot be changed so soon. If your parents are not forcing you to marry then neighbour, relatives or society will force them. Don’t worry girl, if you want to pursue higher studies or work for 2-3 years more, then go and talk to your parents and make them understand. If you are a male reading this article then you too must be facing this situation the other way round. Many proposals might have come your way and you must be wondering what am I doing?
If you want to marry, then marry! If you don’t want to, then just talk to your parents about it! We get one life and we must not live it with regrets.

2. Career Thoughts

Whether you are a recent college pass out or a working professional, career thoughts are bound to hit you this age! Such as what kind of company will I work for? What will be the package? What are my goals for the next 2-3 years? Should I change my job? Should I shift to new city? Etc.

I appreciate that you are thinking about it. Don’t panic just have a confidence in yourself and take the decision. You are only 25 now and it’s okay to make mistakes! This is how you will learn. It’s not the end; it’s just a beginning of your career. Learn as much as you can while you are still young, even if you get paid less at the start. Your knowledge will make you a better professional in the long run.

3. Transition Thoughts

So now you have completed your graduation and you are a grown up! And accordingly, your life will start changing the moment you join a company as a trainee or as a full-time employee. You will initially face a little difficulty, such as, you will miss your college days, hanging out with friends etc.
Now, instead of professors you will have senior leads, and managers. Instead of friends, you will have colleagues. You will notice a change within yourself as now you are now working; you will have certain responsibilities to handle at home etc.
A bit of anxiety, nervousness and confusion is common at this stage, but don’t worry too much and try to handle everything with patience and perseverance. This transition is there to mould you into a smarter individual and overall, a better human being! So, enjoy this transition period and live your life to the fullest!
